10CC will play their first U.S. show since the '70s tomorrow (Friday). The British band, best known for "Things We Do for Love" and "I'm Not in Love," will perform at The Concert Hall at New York's Society for Ethical Culture. It's the first of a brief two-night stopover in North America -- the other show being a Saturday set at Ottawa, Canada's Bluesfest.
Led by co-founder Graham Gouldman, the band -- including longtime guitarist Rick Fenn -- will do a full 90-minute set of 10CC material, as well as acoustic performance of some of the hits Gouldman has written for other artists, such as The Hollies' "Bus Stop," Herman's Hermits' "Listen People" and The Yardbirds' "For Your Love" and "Heart Full of Soul."
