Since Peter Frampton learned that he would be getting his prized 1954 Gibson Les Paul guitar back, he has been documenting its return, restoration and its 2012 debut performance. Frampton says, "It's the only reality show where you will ever find me!" While you can see snippets of it online, his manager tells us they "haven't decided" how they will use the footage. The cameras were rolling for a DVD last Saturday when Frampton unveiled the guitar for the first time in public since 1980. The guitar was believed to have been destroyed in a November 1980 plane crash. Frampton and the second leg of his Frampton Comes Alive 35th anniversary tour is in Akron, Ohio tonight. |
