GRAND FUNK: Farner Film Needs Funds

The producers of I'm Your Captain: The Mark Farner Story, a documentary about the former Grand Funk Railroad singer and guitarist, are trying to raise $75,000 to finish the film. They're hoping to have it air on PBS and to present it in theaters and at film festivals next year. Executive Joanne Codi says it tells the story not only of Farner's career, but also of his "faith, his country, his roots, his musical gifts and first and foremost his family."

Like a PBS fundraising drive, you can earn gifts depending on how much you donate, including autographed pictures, a DVD package, dinner with Farner, and tickets to the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp. For more information, log onto MarkFarner.com.
