BLACK SABBATH: One Madman Is Enough
When it comes to the list of rock's madmen, Cream drummer Ginger Baker ranks right up there with Ozzy Osbourne -- so could you imagine what it would be like if they were in the same band?
If producer Rick Rubin had his way, Baker would have been behind the kit on the new Black Sabbath album, 13, which is out in June. When the band couldn't come to terms with Bill Ward, Rubin suggested Baker. But guitarist Tony Iommi dismissed it, saying, “Bloody hell, I just couldn’t see that.” They ended up using Rage Against the Machine's Brad Wilk.
13 is Sabbath's first studio album with Ozzy since 1978′s Never Say Die.
