JEFF LYNNE: Questioned By the Police

For the second time in two months, the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles hosted an evening with Jeff Lynne. Among those in the audience at Wednesday night's events was Stewart Copeland, drummer in The Police.

During the question-and-answer session, he raised his hand and asked, "With all the guitarists in the Traveling Wilburys, how did you choose who got the solo?"

According to the night's moderator, Cynthia Fox from L.A. radio station KLOS, "Jeff was very diplomatic and said, in essence, that he would defer to George Harrison on that."

In addition to Harrison and Lynne, the other guitarists in the Wilburys were Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Roy Orbison.
