BEACH BOYS: Reflect on Their Grammy Experience

The Beach Boys kicked off their 50th anniversary celebration by performing "Good Vibrations" on Sunday night's Grammys telecast. But the most intriguing news came after the show, when Al Jardine gave a glimpse inside the studio where they've been working on new material. He compares it to the Pet Sounds era and says he's got a good feeling about it.

Even though they've never won a Grammy, Brian Wilson appreciated the warm reception they received. As for their lack of statuettes, Mike Love said they were a victim of tough competition -- their number-one hits "Good Vibrations" and "Kokomo" lost to, respectively, "Monday Monday" and "Don't Worry, Be Happy."
