Producer Don Was on the two new Rolling Stones songs he produced for their new hits collection.

The new Rolling Stones best of, GRRR! Greatest Hits, features two new tracks -- "Doom and Gloom," released on Thursday, and "One More Shot." These are their first new songs in seven years, and with only four days in a Paris studio in August, it was all they had time to record. Their longtime producer Don Was, who oversaw the Paris sessions, tells us that "Doom and Gloom" was written by Mick Jagger and "One More Shot" by Keith Richards, but adds that there was "some interaction in terms of changing little things around." GRRR! will be released on November 13th.
