More details have emerged about Peter Frampton's upcoming Frampton's Guitar Circus tour, although a complete confirmed itinerary has not yet been released.
We can tell you that the tour's first leg will kick off in May, when he'll be joined by Robert Cray on a number of dates, including Nashville, New York City and Austin. The second leg, in August, includes stops in Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles with B.B. King as his main support and blues slide guitarist Sonny Landreth opening most shows.
Frampton has also announced that -- as he did on his FCA 35 tour -- he'll be recording all his spring and summer shows, and selling digital downloads of each.
Prior to the tour, he'll play three special concerts with his hometown Cincinnati Ballet at the Aronoff Center for the Arts, with one show on April 26th and two on the 27th. A new piece composed by Frampton especially for these shows will be included in the performance.
