Paul McCartney’s “Live and Let Die” has been presented with a Million-Air Award from global music rights organization BMI to celebrate over four-million spins on the radio. Throughout his career, Macca has received 75 BMI Million-Air Awards.
Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band -- Steve Lukather (Toto), Richard Page (Mr. Mister), Todd Rundgren, Mark Rivera, Gregg Rolie (Santana & Journey) and Gregg Bissonette -- will tour the Pacific Rim in February. They are in New Zealand on February 7th and 9th, and Japan from February 25th to March 1st, with Australia in between. The Aussie dates will be announced on October 26th.
Graham Nash will be on hand for a reception for his Art of Graham Nash exhibit Thursday night at the ACA Galleries in Manhattan. Nash is in town as CSN wrap up their 2012 tour with five nights at the Beacon Theatre.
Rod Stewart will sign copies of his memoir, Rod, Tuesday at Barnes & Noble on Fifth Avenue in New York City at 5:30p.m. ET.
Peter Wolf says the J. Geils Band will hit the road again at the end of February.
