Martin Scorsese's documentary on George Harrison, Living in the Material World, has been nominated for an IDA Award -- International Documentary Association -- in the Best Limited Series category. The awards will be handed out on December 7th at the Director’s Guild in Los Angeles.
Deep Purple will be joined by Journey on their tour Down Under, which starts on February 24th in Auckland, New Zealand with five more dates through March 7th in Perth, Australia.
Due to Hurricane Sandy, Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer was forced to fly from his home in Austin, Texas to Atlanta for a flight to Philadelphia before getting in a car to complete his journey to New York where Aerosmith is on the Letterman show tonight (Thursday), and the Today show, The View and VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live on Friday.
Steven Tyler tweets that he wants to open a lollipop store in India and call it Mahatma Candy, a take on Mohandas Gandhi, the former late leader of India.
