KISS are starting a seven-date run of South America tonight (Wednesday) in Buenos Aires, and Gene Simmons’ wife, Shannon Tweed, tweets that “half the band has the flu,” but she doesn’t say who. These are their final dates of the year.
Motorhead frontman Lemmy is upset with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He says, “I lent them my jacket and a pair of boots for an exhibit and I didn’t get the jacket back. It was an original Ace of Spades tour jacket from 1980. I’m pretty pissed off about that -- somebody’s wearing it. I know that.” As for the hall itself, he says, “It was one of the biggest wastes of space I’ve ever seen. The biggest room there is a gift shop, isn’t it?”
