Stills, Macca and more.

According to Amazon, the Stephen Stills box set Carry On will be out February 26th. It was produced by Graham Nash.

Paul McCartney has posted a lengthy remembrance of his friend and collaborator, English composer Richard Rodney Bennett, on his website. Bennett died on Christmas Eve. Macca writes, “Composing is one thing, but dividing the parts skillfully across an orchestra; translating the melodies and rhythms into the perfect blend requires a certain special skill that Richard had running through every inch of his body.”

Singer-songwriter-violinist-guitarist Lisa Germano - who played in John Mellencamp’s late-1980s band - will release No Elephants, her 10th solo album on February 12th. Germano plays nearly everything herself, although former Soul Coughing member Sebastian Steinberg adds some upright bass.
