The Nils Lofgren song "Why Me," from his 2011 album Old School, can be heard under the credits on episode nine of the Cinemax original series Banshee, which premieres tonight (Friday) at 10p.m. ET. It repeats at 11 p.m. and at 9 and 11 p.m. on Saturday.

The late Mick Ronson will be remembered on April 27th, two days before the 20th anniversary of his death, when the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London present Mick Ronson Fest. It will include the premiere screening of his 1994 memorial concert, featuring some of his Spiders From Mars bandmates along with Joe Elliott, Roger Taylor, Ian Hunter, Roger Daltrey and many others. There will also be the premiere screening of Ronson at The Rainbow from 1974, talks by some of those who worked with him and an exhibition of rare personal memorabilia. Ronson was 46 when he died from liver cancer.

The reason Yes canceled their AVX TV broadcast from San Francisco earlier this week was the unexpected death of the daughter of keyboard player Geoff Downes last month. The band has issued a statement saying, "Rather than pull the whole show, the decision was jointly and bravely made, by the whole band, to continue the show but to cancel the broadcast."

John Fogerty will play a set with his band at the South by Southwest Music Festival next Saturday (March 16th). He’ll also perform as part of Dave Grohl’s Sound City Players at the festival on Thursday.
