Bruce Springsteen did the tour premiere of "High Hopes" from his 1995 Blood Brothers EP Saturday in Brisbane and again on Monday (today) in Sydney.

Former Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward remembers former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr, who died last week from MS. He writes on his website, "My wife and I respectfully send our condolences to the family and friends of Clive Burr. Thank you, Clive, for all you’ve brought to rock’s history. My wife Jackie particularly liked your drumming and was a huge fan."

Bob Seger and Kid Rock did their two shows together Friday in St. Paul, Minnesota and Saturday in Fargo, North Dakota. Kid opened and then came out at the end of the night to join Seger on several encores, including “Night Moves” and “All Summer Long.”

Dickey Betts attended a memorial service Saturday in Sarasota, Florida for onetime Allman Brothers and Great Southern guitarist Dan Toler, who died last month from ALS. Afterward, Betts, who nicknamed Toler "Dangerous Dan," said, "Living on the road for 50 years, people can give you trouble to the point where you have to get rid of them, but, I swear, Danny was a help, just keeping everything going, keeping the family together, he was just a great human being, a great guy who always had a laugh, always had a great sense of humor.”

Sammy Hagar will celebrate the ninth anniversary of his Lake Tahoe Cabo Wabo with shows there on May 3rd and 4th.
