British guitarist Bert Weedon, best known for creating the popular tutorial manual Play in a Day, has died at the age of 91. Among the budding guitarists who learned to play from his books are Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney and Brian May. Clapton issued a statement saying, "Thank you for all those tips on guitar playing that I got from your book, when I was young." And May says he as a "legend" and thanked him for "spreading the guitar and your enthusiasm to all of us."

Sharon Osbourne plays Captain Hook's mother in the May 12th episode of Jake and the Neverland Pirates on the Disney Channel and Disney Junior.
