Under African Skies -- the documentary about Paul Simon and the making of Graceland -- will open May 11th in New York and Los Angeles.

Deep Purple has hired producer Bob Ezrin -- noted for his work with Pink Floyd, KISS and Alice Cooper -- to produce their next album, which they plan to record this summer. It will be out early next year.

Joe Satriani, Zakk Wylde, Glenn Hughes and others will take part in a tribute to the late amplifier maker Jim Marshall on September 22nd at London's Wembley Arena. Marshall died last month at the age of 88.

Kansas has been added to the line-up of the Rock Legends Cruise Two, January 10th to the 14th, 2013. They join Paul Rodgers, Foreigner, Bachman & Turner, 38 Special and many others.
