Bob Dylan will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama today at the White House.

The Band's Garth Hudson will receive the Lifetime of Achievement Award from the 2012 London Music Awards on June 27th in his hometown of London, Ontario, Canada. He will also be performing that night.

A set of 18 never before seen photos of The Beatles taken on the set of their first film, A Hard Day's Night, will be auctioned on June 12th in London. They were taken by an engineer on the set and are expected to sell for between seven and 10-thousand dollars. Earlier this month, photos taken by a props master on the film were withdrawn from auction.

After a week off, Bruce Springsteen resumed his European tour last Friday with tour premieres of "Sherry Darling" and "Cadillac Ranch," as well as a cover of Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues."
