Charlie Watts and his side project, The A, B, C and D of Boogie Woogie, will be on NBC’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon tonight (Friday). They also start a four-night, two-sets-a-night engagement tonight (Friday) at the Iridium jazz club in New York.

Elton John hosted his annual White Tie and Tiara Ball at his estate in Windsor, England last night (Thursday). Among those attending the benefit for his AIDS Foundation were Adam Lambert, Naomi Watts and Lulu. Elton and Lambert, with Queen, will perform at a huge HIV/AIDS benefit in Kiev, Ukraine on Saturday.

Gene Simmons’ wife, Shannon Tweed, and their daughter Sophie have launched the Sophie and Shannon’s Jewel Box line of jewelry, dresses, belts and handbags in collaboration with the Home Shopping Network. The collection, which ranges in price from $24 to $99, will launch on HSN, HSN.com and HSN Mobile on July 30th.

A Hofner bass signed by Paul McCartney sold for just under $63,000 at a U.K. auction, with the proceeds going to Nordoff Robbins music therapy.
