Roxy Music singer Bryan Ferry says London should ban outdoor concerts in Hyde Park after the power had to be cut while Paul McCartney joined Bruce Springsteen's on stage last Saturday. Ferry says, "They shouldn’t have these events if it’s going to cause embarrassing problems. The problem with Hyde Park is that the volume is never loud enough. I’m sorry for Paul McCartney and Bruce.”

Ted Nugent's Gun Country, his latest reality show, was scheduled to premiere on the Discovery Channel on July 25th but has been removed from the schedule. A post on Nugent's website says, "Coming soon to the Discovery Channel. Stay tuned for scheduling information. Tune in for a shotgun seat, as Ted takes viewers on a wild ride on his Waco, Texas ranch -- and beyond!"

Sammy Hagar's annual Birthday Bash will be held at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on October 7th, 9th, 11th and 13th, Hagar's 65th birthday.

The 50th anniversary of A&M Records is being celebrated with A&M 50: The Anniversary Collection, a three-CD, 60-song set featuring tracks from Cat Stevens, The Police, Sting, Free, Styx, Joe Cocker, Squeeze, Peter Frampton, Nazareth, Bryan Adams, Billy Preston and many others. It will be out August 28th.
