Paul McCartney, who will close the opening ceremony of the London Olympics on Friday, has posted the following on his website regarding the games: "All of us wish our U.K. teams in the Olympics and Paralympics the very best of luck. We hope they enjoy this great competition and create great memories for themselves and us all and at the same time bring home a bagful of lovely medals."

Mick Fleetwood will host the Bluesmasters Concert at Haymarket Park in Lincoln, Nebraska on August 31st, which will feature performances by The Allman Brothers Band, Leon Russell, Elvin Bishop and others.
