Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind" will be covered tonight (Thursday) on the season premiere of Glee on FOX.

Crosby, Stills & Nash will support two Los Angeles-area schools with a special benefit pre-show reception and concert at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on October 3rd. Only 300 tickets will be sold to the benefit concert, with the pre-concert reception limited to 200 people, and 20 of those ticket holders will be invited to a special meet-and-greet. Stephen Stills says, "I have been very fortunate to have attended public schools, in which the arts were honored and respected. As a musician, I see this as an integral piece of a child's development and ability to thrive." CSN is in Woodinville, Washington Friday.

REO Speedwagon will perform at the sixth annual School Rocks benefit concert on October 25th at Chicago's House of Blues. 100 percent of the proceeds will provide scholarships and community support to inner-city students at San Miguel School Chicago.

Aerosmith finished mastering their new album, Music From Another Dimension, this week. It will be out on November 6th.
