David Crosby and Graham Nash will perform October 23rd at the 37th Annual Honors Gala in New York, a benefit for the T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research.
Ace Frehley has issued a statement on last Saturday’s death of Paul Stanley’s mother, saying, “I was very saddened to here of the passing of Paul Stanley's mother Eva. She always had a smile on her face at the KISS shows she attended in New York and was always very gracious to me and my family when we'd meet backstage before and after concerts. My deepest sympathy goes out to Paul and his family."
Aerosmith have donated a signed poster of the album cover of their new album, Music From Another Dimension, to the ABC Recovery Center in Palm Desert, California for their auction on March 8th.
Kenny’s Castaways, a New York City club whose stage was graced by Bruce Springsteen, Patti Smith and many others, is no longer. It closed Monday night following performances by Willie Nile and The Smithereens. Co-owner Maria Kenny says the 45-year old club's rent more than doubled in the last five years.
Paul McCartney and Twiggy were among the stars on hand at today's (Tuesday’s) memorial for actor Victor Spinetti in London. Spinetti, who appeared in all three live-action Beatles movies - A Hard Day's Night, Help and Magical Mystery Tour - died of cancer in June.
