John Lennon’s childhood home in Liverpool is for sale. He lived at 9 Newcastle Road with his mother Julia before he was sent to live with his Aunt Mimi
The three-bedroom home is in the Penny Lane section of town, and while it needs work, it is fully habitable. The house will go up for auction on October 29th at The Cavern Club. The Liverpool home John lived in with Mimi is now run by the National Trust and is open for tours, as is Paul McCartney's childhood home there.
