RINGO STARR: Childhood Home Saved |
|
Ringo Starr's childhood home won't be bulldozed after all. Thanks to an outpouring of support from fans and history buffs, the small three-bedroom house at 9 Madlyn Street in Liverpool will be renovated with an eye towards opening it as a tourist attraction. There are ongoing efforts to get the National Trust to take over its operation, as it has for childhood homes of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Source: Liverpool Echo |
