Ian Hill. Over It?

JUDAS PRIEST: Would Anyone Really Care?

Judas Priest founding member and bassist Ian Hill says he also considered retiring following last year's departure of guitarist K.K. Downing, who he started the band with. He says, "I thought of not doing it, not playing. It terrifies all of us, I think. Many bands are probably thinking, 'Well, this is it, this will be the last tour,' and within a year or two they start missing it all. I'm sure we'd be the same."

If he ever decides to hang it up, Hill wants his bandmates to know they have his blessing to continue on. "We're doing fine without K.K. We did fine without Rob Halford, you know. I'm sure the band will do fine without me. If I don't continue and they want to carry on, of course, yeah."

Priest, with Hill, are in the Czech Republic tomorrow.
