Meat Loaf has dabbled in acting from time to time, and he has no patience for all the critics of Academy Awards host Seth MacFarlane.
Meat writes on Facebook, "I thought Seth MacFarlane did a fantastic job at the Oscars. He brought a youthful humor to the show and raised the ratings. They were killing him online and on CNN. Bunch of crotchety old people (even the ones in their 20s who wrote negative reviews) -- glad I don't know them. I would love to see any these critics get up on that stage and do even 10 percent of what he pulled off. Bottom line, he was great!"
Meat also enjoyed most of the show's music, writing, "Could have lost some musical numbers, but Jennifer Hudson blew the roof off and I love her... Adele was very, very, very good, and Shirley Bassey killed it. How old is she? It pissed me off. Women are lucky, their voices don't change that much. Barbra Streisand is Streisand, wow! The last song could have been cut as they didn't need it."
As we reported earlier, MacFarlane has said there's "no way" he'll return to host the Oscars.
