KISS will release their 20th studio album today (Tuesday) as Monster hits stores and digital retailers.
Monster was produced by Paul Stanley and contains all new original material written by the band. He says they insisted on that in their deal with Universal Records. "Anytime you involve outside people, you're diluting what the band does, and you're also leaving some loopholes for people to not do their job... So I wanted to avoid those kinds of pitfalls."
KISS will celebrate the release with a performance on the Late Show With David Letterman on Wednesday. After they tape the show, they'll play the Live on Letterman webcast, which will stream on CBS.com and Vevo. And on Thursday, they'll be on ABC's Good Morning America.
