JOE WALSH: Ringo and Lynne Join on Stage |
|
Joe Walsh gave a party at L.A.'s Troubadour last night to preview a few songs from his upcoming Analog Man album, and added a couple of classics and a couple of special guests for good measure. The album's producer, Jeff Lynne, joined him on two songs and brother-in-law Ringo Starr took to the stage for the finale, "Rocky Mountain Way." Walsh kicked things off with "Life's Been Good," which he says is the song he gets asked about the most. He then admitted he was tired of trying to explain what the song means. "I'm going to tell you what I intended, so please go tell all your friends and maybe I won't have to talk about it any more." Next up came the title track from "Analog Man" and two other new ones, "Wrecking Ball" and "Lucky That Way," before he and Ringo sent the crowd, which included Eagles bandmate Timothy B. Schmit, home happy. Analog Man will be out in May. |
