JAMES TAYLOR: Christmas in D.C.
James Taylor will perform at the 90th annual National Christmas Tree lighting Thursday in Washington, D.C. The appearance ties in with the recently released an expanded edition of James Taylor at Christmas.
"I'm trying to generate some interest in this new edition of my Christmas album," says Taylor, who plans to perform "Winter Wonderland." Also on the bill are Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Colbie Caillat, Phillip Phillips and host Neil Patrick Harris. The ceremony will air on many PBS stations and be streamed at TheNationalTree.org.
On Friday, Taylor will be the featured speaker at a National Press Club luncheon. His topic will be election reform.
