JON BON JOVI: Turned Down Chances to Become a Reality Show Judge
Jon Bon Jovi says he's been offered chances to be a judge on TV talent shows -- but turned them all down. He tells the London tabloid The Sun, I was offered all of them last year but it’s not for me because I have a job – we're busy."
The New Jersey rocker, who'll tour the U.K. this summer, adds, "It’s hard for the [contenders] because they’re thrust into a huge spotlight, then they win these things and they’re expected to have a record that’s on a par with the greats." Claiming it took him "23 years to write my first record," Bon Jovi is grateful he was able to have the time to develop his band in bars. "I would never have won any of those contests. You see them there and they can hit the high note and then a year later they’re a trivia question."
