The Beach Boys aren't the only Southern California icons celebrating a 50th anniversary. So is Dodger Stadium -- leading to yesterday's announcement of a partnership between the baseball team and the world's most famous surf rock band.
- The fun begins April 10th, when the Beach Boys perform the national anthem at Dodger Stadium's opening game, as well as an additional song. Beach Boys music will be played exclusively that day on the ballpark's P.A. system.
- May 18th will be Beach Boys Night at Dodger Stadium, with more of their hits played throughout the ballpark. There'll also be a post-game fireworks show set to a soundtrack of Beach Boys hits.
- There will be co-branded merchandise featuring both the band's 50th Anniversary logo and the stadium's 50th Anniversary logo
