FOREIGNER: Jones Could Have Been Cold as Ice |

Foreigner founder and guitarist Mick Jones underwent heart surgery last week at the Mount Sinai Heart Institute in Miami. A source tells the New York Post, "The surgery was more urgent because Mick had needed it for some time." Jones, who was noticeably absent on some of the band's shows last year with Journey, is out of intensive care and making a good recovery. A spokeswoman for the 68-year-old was unavailable for comment. Foreigner are again on tour without Jones, the only original member, with their next show scheduled for Thursday in Tucson, Arizona. |
