LINDA McCARTNEY: Before She Married a Beatle
Linda McCartney's work is included in an L.A. photo exhibit.
Photographs taken by the late Linda McCartney are part of the Who Shot Rock & Roll exhibit at the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles. There are 166 prints on display, by such famed shooters as Henry Diltz, Lynn Goldsmith, Bob Gruen, the late Dennis Hopper, Annie Leibovitz, the late Jim Marshall, Storm Thorgerson.
Before meeting and marrying Paul McCartney, Linda Eastman was one of the first women to earn a living as a rock photographer. Among her subjects were The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Cream and Jimi Hendrix. The exhibit runs through October 7th.
