BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: Opens for Himself at Closer, Plays His Longest Show Ever

Bruce Springsteen closes his European tour in Finland with his longest show ever.

Bruce Springsteen brought the European leg of his Wrecking Ball tour to a close tonight (Tuesday) with a four-plus hour show in Helsinki, Finland that included a special opening act -- Bruce.

He did a five song acoustic set of "I'll Work for Your Love," "Leap of Faith," "No Surrender," "For You" and "Blinded by the Light." All but "No Surrender" and "For You" were tour premieres. Then he was joined by the E Street Band for four hours -- their longest show ever -- and six more tour premieres: Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Rockin’ All Over the World," which opened the set, "Light of Day," "Back in Your Arms," "Detroit Medley," "I Don’t Wanna Go Home" and "Higher and Higher." He ended the night with "Twist and Shout" on which his manager Jon Landau played guitar.

Up next is the North American outdoor leg starting on August 14th with the first of two nights in Boston's Fenway Park followed by one more at nearby Gillette Stadium. He'll be outside through September 22nd in East Rutherford, New Jersey before taking it back inside on October 19th in Ottawa, Canada.
