Mets Man!

REO Speedwagon joined the New York Mets for a unique doubleheader on Friday night. It was ideal for a band fronted by lifelong baseball fan Kevin Cronin. The "Keep on Loving You" hitmakers rocked out for 45 minutes at Citi Field following the Mets game with the Cincinnati Reds. This wasn't the first time REO played a ballpark. Cronin says they'd done so for the Braves, Rays and Pirates. They love the concept -- after all, why wait in a dressing room to go onstage, when they can watch a game instead? Besides, it was a kick to play for the ballclub whose previous home, Shea Stadium, hosted The Beatles' most famous American concert.
