JOURNEY: Producer Wants His Money
Producer Roy Thomas Baker claims he is owed royalties for his work with Journey.
Producer Roy Thomas Baker says he is owed more than a million dollars in royalties for his work on two Journey albums: 1978's Infinity and 1979's Evolution. He has filed suit against Sony Music, specifying 21 of the band's songs, including such staples as "Lights" and "Wheel in the Sky."
Baker's illustrious résumé includes album production for Queen, The Cars, Cheap Trick, Ozzy, Alice Cooper and Foreigner.
