Martin Mullaney, the culture chief of Birmingham, England, has thrown his support behind a proposal for Black Sabbath Day in their hometown. Sharon Osbourne tweets that when she travels on a plane with Piers Morgan, her former America's Got Talent co-judge "makes me want to flash my breasts!" She then adds, "Hey, Piers, how about you and me applying for the gig on [Simon Cowell's] X Factor? Joking! Ha ha. Forget a season. We would be fired after the first show." Add Ian Hunter's name to the list of artists who are not fans of Simon Cowell. Hunter says, "To me he's a music murderer -- but that's just my opinion." Also down on Cowell are Roger Daltrey, Elton John and Jack Bruce. Steve Winwood has been added to the Hangout Fest on May 20th on the Gulf Shores, Alabama. Sean Lennon will serve as the artistic director of the third annual Los Angeles Animation Festival, March 7th through the 11th at the Regent Showcase theatre in Hollywood. |
