ROD STEWART: Get Back to Where It All Began?
Rod Stewart has been asked to honor a club he played long ago.
Rod Stewart, Elton John and Robert Plant have all been asked to perform a show in honor of Mothers, a club in Birmingham, England where they all played early in their careers.
The club opened in 1968 and closed in 1971, after staging shows by such acts as Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, The Who, Free, Traffic and Pink Floyd.
The building that housed Mothers will be honored on November 4th with a Blue Plaque, which the British bestow on historic buildings.
