JIMI HENDRIX: Is it for Real This Time?

Word out of Ireland is that the on-again off-again movie about Jimi Hendrix is back on. All Is By My Side, with rapper Andre 3000 as the late guitarist, is in pre-production in Wicklow, Ireland. Shooting is scheduled to get underway there in three weeks as well as in Dublin. The film will concentrate on Jimi's time in England from 1966 to '67 when he recorded his debut album, Are You Experienced. The film is being directed by John Ridley, who wrote the scripts for Three Kings and U-Turn.
