BOB DYLAN: Like a CEO?
A new book suggests that Bob Dylan is a role model for CEOs.
A new book suggests that CEOs can learn a thing or two from Bob Dylan. Jon Friedman, a media columnist for MarketWatch and author of Forget About Today: Bob Dylan’s Genius for (Re)invention, Shunning the Naysayers and Creating a Personal Revolution, says, "Bob Dylan has shown us through his example how to . . . keep people engaged, how to stay ahead of the pack, and think for yourself. These are qualities that [would help] any entrepreneur, CEO, journalist, anybody. Speaking for yourself, not sticking with a pack, always trying to innovate, always trying to be different, always trying to expand your audience, trying to expand your reach, trying to break new ground all the time — these are good qualities.”
Dylan, the CEO of rock acts who got their start in the '60s, performs in Missoula, Montana Tuesday night.
