Elvis Costello's next release will be a collection of music he's done for films. In Motion Pictures, which comes out November 19th, features 15 songs written for -- or that appeared in -- movies. Elvis handpicked the tracks himself.
Among the selections are:
- "Seven Day Weekend," his duet with Jimmy Cliff from Club Paradise
- “My Mood Swings,” which played on The Dude’s headphones during his “dental” examination in The Big Lebowski
- “Miracle Man, which played during the seduction of Michael Corelone’s daughter in The Godfather Three
- “A Town Called Big Nothing,” from the cult film Straight to Hell, performed by The MacManus Gang, featuring Costello and his father, Ross MacManus
