AEROSMITH: Catch the Wave

Steven Tyler says the new Aerosmith album, Music From Another Dimension, is "like a wave" because "you ride that album all the way and see what you got. Hopefully we have three or four deep [tracks], which means radio play... We're so happy about it." Joe Perry adds, "This is really a different record for us. We're actually gonna deliver it on time." They are still in the mixing stage.

Tyler and Aerosmith debuted the lead single, "Legendary Child," Wednesday night on the season finale of American Idol. Music From Another Dimension will be their first album of original material in 11 years, since 2001's Just Push Play.

Unfortunately for the band, Wednesday's Idol season finale was the lowest finale in the show's 11-year history. But, 20.7-million viewers is nothing to sneeze at.
