Black Sabbath have made a lot of progress on their new album. Metal Injection reports that they've written and recorded 15 songs and that singer Ozzy Osbourne and bassist Geezer Butler are in a studio in Malibu, California with Butler writing all the lyrics. They're working on vocals for the first five songs with producer Rick Rubin while guitarist Tony Iommi is in London recovering from his cancer treatments.

There's no release date as of yet for the project.
