Last Friday, "Scarlet Town" became the second track from Bob Dylan's upcoming Tempest album to be -- at least partially -- previewed on the Cinemax series Strike Back. Dylan recently commented on the album to Rolling Stone that "anything goes and you just gotta believe it will make sense."

David Hidalgo of Los Lobos, who plays violin on "Scarlet Town" and accordion on the previous unveiled track, "Early Roman Gods," would probably agree. He tells us that before the recording started, "I didn't know what I was going to play. No one's heard the songs before. He introduces the song and everyone tries to come up with something that fits."
