LYNYRD SKYNYRD: New Album and a Crowe |

Lynyrd Skynyrd will put out their next album, Last of a Dying Breed, on August 21st. It will be their first release since 2009's God and Guns. Founding member and guitarist Gary Rossington says the sessions reminded him of their early days, when they all played together "as a band, tracking songs and creating licks. We had a lot of fun and the music really flowed for us... We can't wait to let the fans hear these songs and play 'em live." Skynyrd will be back on the road tomorrow night in Baltimore with dates through early October. Joining them will be a new bass player, Johnny Colt. He's an original member of The Black Crowes and has played with Train and Rockstar Supernova. |
