Patti Smith has just released an expanded edition of Woolgathering, a short memoir initially published on her 45th birthday in 1991. Like Just Kids -- which won her a National Book Award for Nonfiction in 2010 -- it draws on experiences from her youth. The new edition adds additional writing, photos and illustrations. Smith releases her 11th studio album, Banga, on June 5th. |
