Another Doors documentary is in the works. According to, the DVD R-Evolution will feature a mix of TV appearances by the band and other films -- including plenty of previously unreleased performance footage. There'll also be commentary by John Densmore, Robby Krieger and the late Ray Manzarek, who was working with the project before his death earlier this year.

The program will showcase the group's rebellious image and how they broke through the restrictions of '60s network TV. Among the more intriguing segments is the band's appearance on ABC's summer 1967 prime-time series Malibu U -- in which Jim Morrison refused to attend the taping for the lip-synch performance, with Robby Krieger's twin brother Ron taking his place without many fans noticing.

R-Evolution is expected to go on sale in December.
