An exhibit of 100 drawings and sketches by John Lennon is open this week in his adopted hometown of New York.

Gimme Some Truth: The Artwork of John Lennon, presented by Yoko Ono, covers the years 1964-1980. The exhibit runs through next Tuesday, October 9th -- what would have been his 72nd birthday -- at 130 Prince Street in the SoHo section of Manhattan. A $2 donation is suggested, with proceeds going to Citymeals-on-Wheels.
