CSNY: No One Owns Them
Update on the 1974 live album Graham Nash is compiling.
Graham Nash says one reason why the 1974 Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young live album he is working on has yet to come out was a disagreement over rights to the material. Nash tells us, "Warner Brothers had a stance that they owned everything that we'd ever recorded. My stance was, read the record contract. You own albums that are delivered to you as albums..." Nash says the dispute has been settled and they "have complete control" over their music. Look for the album early next year.
CSN is currently on tour, with dates in Charlottesville, Virginia on Thursday; Portsmouth, Virginia on Saturday; and Durham, North Carolina on Sunday.
