Carlos Santana is the latest classic rock act to jump into the memoir ring.

Carlos Santana is the latest classic rock act to jump into the memoir ring. His still-untitled autobiography will be published in 2014.

Carlos will share his memories of the countless artists he's been inspired by and played with, including Miles Davis, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Harry Belafonte. He'll also discuss some of the people who've had am influence on his life, such as Cesar Chavez, Dolores Huerta and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. And of course he'll talk about his life outside of music and his charitable work.

Santana's memoir will be published simultaneously in English and Spanish, as well as in an audio version.

Carlos's ex-wife, Deborah, published her memoir, Space Between the Stars, in 2005. Other artists scheduled to publish their life stories this year include Pete Townshend, Rod Stewart and Peter Criss next month.
